SUMMARY:JANET CHEESEMAN GARDEN PLANTING EVENT
DESCRIPTION:Hudson Springs Park\, 7095 Stow Road \n\n\n\nPlease meet in front of the restrooms by the parking lot\, Saturday\, May 9th at 9 am. \n\n\n\nWe will start at 9 am and finish when everything is planted\, but no later than 3 p.m. LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED. \n\n\n\nFriends of Hudson Parks (FOHP) Members and Volunteers will be adding native perennials to the Janet Cheeseman Garden at Hudson Springs Park. \n\n\n\nPlease dress for the weather\, wear closed toe shoes and bring water\, gardening gloves\, large shovel and trowel. Volunteers are encouraged to bring water – a lunch will be provided. \n\n\n\nThe Janet Cheeseman Garden was installed originally by the Hudson Park Board to honor a woman who had been a strong parks advocate and a member of the Hudson Park Board. Janet was a long time gardener and member of the Hudson Garden Club. \n\n\n\nFOHP has been working to restore the Janet Cheeseman Memorial Garden for the last four years.
