There are THREE classes in this summer series for 2026. \n\n\n\nTarget Age Range: Ages 4 – 10 years\, An adult must accompany their child participants. \n\n\n\nLed by Jonathan Shaw\, McDowell Elementary Teacher\, Dr. Anne Farley Schoeffler\, Seton School and local educators \n\n\n\nSession #2 – Birds – Sat.\, July 11 – REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN \n\n\n\nProgram Information \n\n\n\nSession #2 Overview – Birds at Cascade Park \n\n\n\nDate: July 11\, 2026Location: Cascade Park\, Holden PavilionTime: 10:00 – 11:30 AM \n\n\n\nDiscover the amazing adaptations that help birds survive! DESCRIPTION:Hudson Springs Park\, 7095 Stow Road\, Hudson \n\n\n\nKayak and Stand-Up Paddleboard Class Registration is Now Open! \n\n\n\nEntry level paddleboard and kayak classes will be offered on on two Saturdays in July\, 2026\, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at Hudson Springs Park. Experienced boarders & kayakers will also benefit. Safety training\, instruction & equipment will be provided by KSU RecWell Adventure Center. Two separate classes are: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nSat.\, 7/18: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Kayaking lesson     \n\n\n\nOR Sat.\, 7/25: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Stand Up paddleboarding lesson \n\n\n\nParticipants must be age 8 or older. \n\n\n\nCost is $40 / person / class (plus taxes and fees). \n\n\n\nFriends of Hudson Parks (FOHP) members receive a 25% discount. \n\n\n\nFor Individual members\, discount applies just to the member. \n\n\n\nFor Family\, Benefactor\, and Champion level members\, the 25% discount applies to members and their immediate family. \n\n\n\nYou will need to set up a KSU RecWell Adventure Center account & sign a waiver to register for a class. \n\n\n\nTo register for a class and set up an account\, click HERE.\n\n\n\nPlease note: July 18 is KAYAKING only; July 25 is STAND UP PADDLEBOARDING only! \n\n\n\nIf you are a 2026 Friends of Hudson Parks member\, be sure to enter the promo code that was sent to you by email.
