Garlic Mustard Pull
April 27 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Hudson Springs Park, 7095 Stow Road
Volunteers Needed to Help Control Garlic Mustard
The Friends of Hudson Parks (FOHP) organization has been working to eliminate a harmful and invasive plant called garlic mustard in local parks for the past few years. We are looking for volunteers in the community to help with the labor intensive job of controlling the invasive plants before seeds begin to mature in June.
The Friends are hosting a garlic mustard “pull” at Hudson Springs Park this Saturday, April 27 from 1-3 p.m. The Parks Department provides trash bags and gloves for the events. Dress for the weather and meet in front of the bathrooms in the Hudson Springs parking lot. This event is RAIN or SHINE.
