Monarch Garden

The Friends of Hudson Parks have developed a native plant filled Monarch/Pollinator Garden at Hudson Springs Park. The garden provides an excellent opportunity for park visitors to observe our native Ohio bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, and flies and the beautiful native plants that sustain them.

A second natural woodland pollinator planting has been added at Cascade Park with support from Hudson Garden Club and Hudson Girl Scouts.

Discover the benefits of a wild back yard. Check out MetroParks website.

If you are thinking about adding some native plants to your garden or backyard this spring, check out Summit Metro Parks’ Native Plant Festival this Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Munroe Falls Metro Park, located at 521 S. River Road.
