Wild Hudson: Summer Explorations in Nature
Wild Hudson is a hands-on, science-focused program designed to get kids outside, exploring, & connecting with the natural world right in their own backyard. There are five classes in this summer series. See flyer with all classes HERE.
Target Age Range: Ages 4 – 10 years, An adult must accompany their child participants.

Theme: Owls: Silent Hunters of the Night
In this session, we’ll dive into the magical world of monarch butterflies! Kids will learn about the monarch’s incredible life cycle, their long-distance migration to Mexico, and their special relationship with milkweed plants. Through games, crafts, storytelling, and science, kids will explore how tiny insects make big journeys—and why they need our help along the way.
This day is all about transformation, movement, and wonder as we flutter through the life of one of Ohio’s most beloved pollinators.
Meet by the restrooms in Hudson Springs Parking Lot. We will walk as a group to the Galloway Pavilion.
Cost: FREE, but registration is required – CLASS IS FULL
