Pollinator Meadow Guided Walk

POLLINATOR MEADOW AT DARROW ROAD PARK

TONIGHT AT 6:30 RAIN OR SHINE – forecasted for clearing by late afternoon!
Friends of Hudson Parks Board Member Marcia Carsten will share the history of Hudson’s
Pollinator Meadow at Darrow Road Park and identify native flora.
Come prepared to walk with sturdy, closed-toe shoes and your own water.
The City of Hudson Parks Department, Hudson Park Board, Friends of Hudson Parks, and
the US Fish and Wildlife Service – Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program collaborated to
create a Pollinator Meadow at Darrow Road Park that restored six acres adjacent to SR 91
back to a pollinator meadow filled with native flowers and grasses that support the bird,
butterfly, bee and insect populations in the area.
